Hazard Communication Standard GHS: What YOU Need to Know
In light of OSHA's alignment of its hazcom rules with the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (GHS) in March 2012, launderers are subject to new guidelines for explaining the new type of information employees can expect to see on chemical labels and how it ensures their safety. Employers must also provide training on the new standardized format for Safety Data Sheets (SDS), formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). This webinar enables you to explain: - How various elements of a GHS compliant label work together to convey risk - Standardized 16-section format of SDS - How label information relates to SDS
