TRSA’s Certified Professional Laundry Manager (CPLM) Exam tests your knowledge and expertise of BMPs and production excellence. By taking and passing the CPLM exam individuals demonstrate a high level of management skills and knowledge in these areas:
- Customer Service
- Financial Management
- Human Resources
- Merchandise Management
- Quality Control
- Soil Sorting
- Stockroom/Linen Room Management
- Textiles (Fabric Technology)
- Washroom Management/Chemistry
- Wastewater Management
The exam consists of 100 questions and students have 90 minutes to complete it. All questions are multiple choice with four possible answers associated with each question. Simply select the answer that you believe is correct for each question. Be sure to select an answer for every question and do not leave any questions blank. If you are unsure of the answer, choose your best guess.
You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. You do NOT have the option to stop the exam and come back and finish at a later time. You must complete the full exam in one attempt.
When you are finished with the exam, click the “Submit Quiz” button and you will automatically see a pass or fail status. You must receive a minimum score of 75% in order to pass. If you do not pass, you have the option to retake the exam by purchasing the retake at a discounted price. Visit the TRSA.org store to purchase a retake exam.
If you pass the exam, you’ll then need to follow the prompts to “submit for credit” in order to generate your CPLM certificate. You can generate the CPLM certificate automatically and print it directly from your computer or save it to your files. If you’d like to request a CPLM certificate be mailed to you, please contact TRSA.
If you do not pass, you have the option to retake it. Visit the TRSA.org store to purchase a retake exam.
