Loading with hydraulic sling lift; using computer screen to monitor sling locations, cycle progress; transferring to extractor; emerging cakes; conveying to, entering dryer; manual unloading into cart; positioning for folding and ironing.

Sheet Feeding in a Hospitality Laundry

Sheet feeder, ironer, folder, conveyors, two teams of feeding operators; sheets

Primary station: grabbing sheet from cart, opening, shaking, placing on spreader. Secondary: grabbing sheet from spreader, placing on feeder belt. Both stations: removing knots and bunched items. Programming for size, temperature, fold type; ironing, folding, stacking, bundling, conveying.

Positioning carts from dryer at folding station; programming fold type and amount of air pressure; grabbing, opening and placing on feeder; setting aside stained or damaged items; stacking; conveying for bundle-tying and packing for shipment. Measuring pieces completed per hour.

Conveying for quality check and stacking; conveying to bundle tying by one operator in two lanes (towels, sheets), removing bundles from conveyor and placing in cart.
